Participating in the internship at Critter Care Wildlife Society has really helped expand my views and knowledge of wildlife rehabilitation. I learned so much from the staff as well as other interns during my two and a half month stay at Critter Care and met some amazing people during my time. It was an experience of a lifetime and I am grateful for the chance to have interned here. Although the internship was both mentally and physically challenging at times, I learned to push through the tough times and endure the exhaustion in order to provide the animals with the proper care they needed. I believe this internship has prepared me to work with more animals in the future and it made me realize that this is the field that I want to work in. I will always remember the time I spent rehabilitating orphaned and sick animals that would not have made it without our work and I am glad I got to be a part of such an important team. I want to thank Critter Care for this amazing experience. 

During my time here I worked with skunks, raccoons, deer mice, and grey squirrels.
